The University of Memphis was founded as an educator’s college almost a century ago. Today our nationally accredited College of Education prepares more of Tennessee’s teachers than any other university, operates two laboratory schools, offers the most comprehensive education program in the Mid-South, comprises four diverse departments and conducts research in the community and nationwide.
