Welcome to the web site for the University of Memphis' Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetic Internship/Residency.

For prospective interns, we hope this site will provide helpful information that will assist you in deciding whether or not to apply to our program. Admissions requirements are outlined; We have provided Acrobat files for both the ADA application and the ADA recommendation forms. These can be completed on-line and printed for mailing. Our combined internship and graduate program is unique and I hope you will take the time to explore our web site and learn how much our internship has to offer. Visit the program description. You will find our curriculum, our clinical sites, and a brief description of our program, including a diagram of our program schedule. These web pages will give you a feel for the type of program we provide as well as the opportunities available to our graduates. For current interns and alumni, we hope our site will provide a way to keep up with your classmates. We have an alumni directory on the Alumni page. If you would like to have your e-mail address posted, please e-mail me. Sometimes it's hard to maintain those connections and we hope this site will make that easier.

We have also added information for current interns to this site. You will find information you need regarding your thesis or Master’s Project, as well as our handbook, preceptor evaluation, information you might need for courses or rotations and a link to the current UofM Calendar. We have provided some useful links to help you in our program and beyond.

Last (but never least!) we have added information for our clinical preceptors. You will find information about our current interns (e.g., rotations they have completed, GAs they have done, courses they have completed, their pictures and biosketches); evaluation forms and guidelines; and preceptor training for those of you who would like to participate. We hope this information will make your preceptor duties run more smoothly and we are always open to suggestions of what might be added.
